Use 1-800-Translate to talk to someone in another language.

For best results, you and the person you are talking to should each have a handset. Conference in using two phones, or use a dual handset phone. If you need to have your hands free, speaker phones and conference phones will also work, but excessive background noise may affect the quality of interpretation.

Use our Point to the Language chart to identify the language spoken by the person you are trying to talk to. Once you've identified the language call 1-800-872-6752 (+1-212-818-1102 internationally).

The auto attendant will ask you to press the Star key (*), then to enter your access code. You will then be connected to an operator who will assign an interpreter. Please provide the operator with the following information:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your access code
• The language you need
• Any special billing information (If you are unsure of the caller's language, the dispatcher can help you to identify it.)

The operators will then bring your interpreter into the call.
