Scientists have always thought that rituals and emotions associated with loss of a loved one were unique to people. I guess these observations begin to change the game..

I always had a feeling that chimpanzees had a remarkably complex, even human-like, response to the deaths of their closest companions. Studied them during my PhD…thanks
